High-Voltage Electrical Systems Seminar Series with GE Vernova

CSE Uniserve was delighted to co-host two exclusive seminars in Brisbane and Perth this May, in partnership with GE Vernova, aimed at helping customers unlock the full potential of their non-rotating high-voltage assets.

Led by Marcus Bonner, Monitoring & Diagnostics Global Sales Leader at GE Vernova, the sessions offered attendees a rare opportunity to engage directly with one of the industry’s foremost experts in high-voltage electrical systems. With over 21 years of experience at GE Vernova, Marcus has held roles spanning technical application engineering, sales leadership and global strategy. His deep knowledge of automation, diagnostics, metering and protection systems provided valuable context for the evolving challenges faced by operators today.

The early morning seminars welcomed a diverse group of CSE Uniserve and GE Vernova customers, all with a shared interest in substation and high-voltage solutions. Over the course of the hour-long session, Marcus explored a range of topics including how to optimise operational and capital expenditure, reduce human error and improve data quality for more informed decision making.

Drawing on his extensive field experience, Marcus also introduced GE Vernova’s suite of monitoring and diagnostics solutions for transformers, highlighting how these tools can support safer operations and improved business outcomes. He concluded with a strategic framework for asset planning, covering key metrics such as asset health, risk, life expectancy, failure probability and criticality.

Featuring interactive demonstrations and real-world applications, it was warmly received by attendees across both cities.

Joel Ryan, CSE Uniserve Sales Manager for Mining and Industry, said: “We really value opportunities like this to connect with our customers in a more meaningful way. These events aren’t just about the tech—they’re about sharing practical insights, encouraging open discussion and making sure people walk away with something genuinely useful for their operations.”

CSE Uniserve is committed to delivering more than just technical solutions—we’re focused on building strong, lasting relationships with our customers. Events like this seminar series are part of our ongoing efforts to provide meaningful opportunities for learning, collaboration and connection.
